Would you have confidence in Santa Claus? Jolly Old St. Nicholas is a fundamental part of western society and most of us matured using this magical icon. Recently I came upon the idea that Santa represents a distinctive archetype. In Jungian psychology, archetype is described as an inherited memory represented in the mind by a universal symbol and observed in dreams and myths.
While seeking for such symbolic images with this dear old man I realized that which Santa Claus stands for could also be used to motivate us in creating for the new year. I see him as a fun-loving guy which brings us joy, love, excitement and happiness. It’s said he makes all our dreams and wishes be realized. In this season we have been full of expectations, the brilliance of light-filled homes, the enjoyment to be with friends and neighbors to celebrate life, and the joy and gratitude of giving and receiving.
I find that put santa in your picture reflects several archetypes. He is seen from the Innocent archetype, helping us to trust, to hope as well as believe that an improved day lies ahead. He or she is clearly driven by faith and trust, bring that hope and giving us that faith and the trust that will be well.
The Caregiver archetype, however, will not be within the exercise of power that is the motive, nevertheless the drive to bestow care on people who require it: the care, concern and nurturing they lack but deserve. He is about giving to others fulfilling their demands. And the man does not require anything in return except a cookie, glass of milk or some eggnog. He appears to be a powerful guy, settling on who turns into a new Nintendo and who gets t-shirts or shoes. If we are excellent of course, if we know, Santa will make sure we get everything we wish.
A tremendous facet of Santa’s story is definitely the magical transformation from his rising up a chimney by the touch of his nose in addition to his yearly trek around the globe. And besides that, his flying reindeer without GPS onboard is literally miraculous, indeed. He magically brings gratitude, compassion and like to all, one child’s heart at the same time. Santa may be the quintessential Magician archetype helping us transform and transcend current reality to locate new ways of dealing, being and succeeding.
While we are creating our dreams, our visions, and our options for 2010, let’s all make sure you use our Santa Claus model along with the Law of Attraction, Creation and Allowing. While you have selected after which more clearly defined your alternatives in creating your 2010 Journey, take advantage of this strategy to shift your beliefs and allowing of that particular that you desire.
Sometimes simply the subtle shift from viewing our images from a grown-up part of looking to force, worrying over and wondering how things can change, towards the wide-eyed expectations and faith of kids. An integral part of the skill of Allowing would be to let go and let God. Releasing our attachment to old beliefs, ideas and teachings permits us to ready to accept the Infinite Likelihood of the Universe.
Then too, we are able to liken Santa’s management skills into a universal manager. Is it possible to envision him bringing toys to everyone, world-wide, in only one night? And all of by the due date and within budget? That’s what we’re taught the Universe are capable of doing for us, if we turn it up to God/Source. From the book “Ask & It Can Be Given” among the Proven Processes is catchusanta it up to the manager. Since we set our goals, it’s like delegating into a Universal Manager. So that as we step back, and let the Universe set things in position, we CREATE! Remember, we’re not stopping choices, we’re merely turning over every piece of information and creating our choices.
I urge you to concentrate on giving over to your Universal Manager all the things you really feel you must do within this holiday week. You’ll discover it amazing that while we shift our focus of reality, our reality changes. I’ve done this personally when I’ve felt overwhelmed by each of the chores I feel I must do. Amazingly, some get done, some don’t, and some just don’t seem extremely important. I’ve had times when my daughters and daughters-in-law would offer to accomplish several of the baking. I’ve learned to take help and reply having a grateful “Yes!” This method is priceless in all of the aspects of life, not just the holidays. Legal Requirements of Attraction is unfolding and orchestrating all that should afflict bring me my desires, Now.
